Practical Apps Studio operates the Foliana pre-launch waitlist. We collect only the information needed to measure interest in Foliana and notify people about product updates, early access, and launch availability.

Personal data we collect

• Email address submitted through the waitlist form.
• Basic technical data sent by your browser, such as page URL, referrer, device type, approximate region, and timestamps.
• Consent and interaction records needed to operate the waitlist and prevent abuse.

Why we process this data

We process waitlist emails to provide requested Foliana updates and to reserve pre-launch interest. For UK and EU visitors, the primary lawful basis is consent when you join the waitlist. We may also rely on legitimate interests for security, fraud prevention, service diagnostics, and aggregated analytics.

Analytics

We use Umami, a cookie-free analytics tool, to understand aggregate page usage. Umami is configured for privacy-friendly analytics and does not require tracking cookies. We use analytics to measure whether the Foliana concept is useful enough to build and launch.

How long we keep data

Waitlist data is stored until the waitlist closes or for 12 months from collection, whichever comes first, unless a longer period is required to handle a legal request, dispute, or security issue.

Sharing and selling data

We do not sell personal data. We may share data only with service providers that help us operate the page, collect waitlist submissions, send email updates, host infrastructure, analyze aggregate traffic, or comply with law. These providers may process data in the UK, EU, US, or other locations with appropriate safeguards where required.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, including the UK, EU, and parts of the US, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal data. You may also withdraw consent or ask us to erase your waitlist email at any time by contacting hello@practicalapps.studio. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority (see Impressum section).

US privacy note

We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If your US state law grants additional rights, contact us and we will handle your request as required by applicable law.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect waitlist data. No internet service is perfectly secure, so please do not submit confidential, sensitive, or payment information through the waitlist form.

Terms of Service

Foliana pre-launch waitlist terms

By joining the Foliana waitlist, you agree to these terms. Foliana is currently a fake-door pre-launch validation page, not a live SaaS product.

Waitlist status

Joining the waitlist expresses interest in Foliana and lets us email you about product updates. It does not create a customer account, guarantee access, or require us to launch the product.

Founder pricing

Any founder pricing shown on the page is reserved for eligible waitlist members if Foliana launches. The exact launch date, feature set, availability, and final commercial terms may change before launch.

No payment today

No payment is processed on this waitlist page, no subscription starts now, and no credit card is required to join. A subscription would start only if Foliana launches and you separately choose to subscribe under the then-current checkout terms.

Cancellation

You may leave the waitlist or unsubscribe from Foliana update emails at any time. If Foliana later launches as a paid service, cancellation terms will be provided before any subscription begins. Our current intent is to allow cancellation anytime.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the waitlist, submit false or abusive entries, attempt to disrupt the page, or use automated systems in a way that harms the service.

No professional advice or warranty

The page and all pre-launch materials are provided for validation and informational purposes only. We provide them as is, without warranties about availability, accuracy, launch timing, future features, or fitness for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Practical Apps Studio will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or loss-of-profit damages arising from use of this pre-launch page or waitlist.

Governing law

These terms are governed by UK law, specifically the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law rules. Mandatory consumer protection rights in your country of residence may still apply where required by law.
